Real Work Matters (RWM) has ranked the St. Philip’s College Radiology Technician Program the No. 10 best school for radiologic technologists’ studies. Each year, RWM ranks the best schools for radiology technicians by analyzing data from the U.S. Department of Education and the National Center for Education Statistics. Their methodology includes factors such as affordability, program availability, flexibility, student services, student success post-graduation and employment rates.

Students in the program experience clinical training in area hospitals and imaging centers. Graduates earn an associate degree in radiology technology and are qualified to sit for the national certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. In practice, radiology technicians use x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) to examine the internal structures of the body and help physicians diagnose health problems in patients.

SPC’s Radiography Technologist Program is accredited by the Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. To learn more about the program, click here
